Meet our Special Christmas Couple ~ Wendy and Joseph (^_^)

This Christmas, I thought of a special couple who have experienced the presence and protection of our Heavenly Father, just has Joseph and Mary had during their baby's birth!

Coincidentally, the hubby also is named Joseph, and his lovely wife is named (not Mary) ~ Wendy! It was a special privilege to chat with them and see the article Joseph wrote about his faith journey on becoming a child of God! Wendy often jokes that it was "Joseph ~是他騙了我"!

She was 14 years old when she went to New York as a high school freshman to study. Wendy  and Joseph's parents were good friends and neighbors in Taiwan, way before the couple was born! So like our taiwanese country soap operas, the two definately grew up as "青梅竹馬"! She stayed in Joseph's home all through high school, and their friendship (and love) grew day by day! They got married when she graduated from school. I reckon she is Grapevine's youngest bride!

She had precious Claire a few year later, and they enjoyed their big family, living with parents, sister Lisa, and their little Claire! This sweet-natured, gentle couple experienced God's provision and care, especially when their little Grace was born recently. Though the delivery happened faster than they had expected, their baby girl was born safely and continued to grow stronger and stronger every day.

We thank the Lord for this special couple, and continue to pray for God's special grace and healing on baby Grace. She was named Grace especially because of God's miracle in her precious little life.
