When I think of this special brother & his family, I'm reminded of a wonderful cartoon character ~ Peter Pan! Ever since they joined our Grapevine "Circus", we are blessed to have a brother (and family) who loves adventures ~ And takes his buddies along!

It is mind-boggling to imagine orchestrating outings for a group of a few families, but imagine being in charge of an outing for a whole Church! Yet for Peter and family, it seems as easy as making paper airplanes....just go with the flow, and voila! The church meets in a beautiful park, with tons of games, food, and encouragement from pastors and elders!
Peter and Linda met through a friend and began chatting online! He was living in the U.S. and she was in Taiwan! Not long after their cyber chats, Peter flew to Taiwan and met Linda, and it was love at first sight!

They dated long-distance, and at one point, Linda thought the long-distance thing was probably too difficult to maintain. Upon hearing this, Peter packed his belongings, took an undetermined sabbatical from work in the U.S., and stayed in Taiwan to prove his love and devotion to Linda.

His sacrifice ended up touching the heart of his future father-in-law, Linda's dad, and after several weeks, dad decided that this is definately a loyal man worthy of his daughter's hand.
They got married and Linda moved to the U.S. with Pete! Within the 8 years, they had grown from 2 to 4, as sweet Stephanie and precious Nathan arrived on the scene! Their family embarks on different outings almost every weekend!
What is most memorable about them is their generosity in sharing their time and adventures with everyone around them. To simply plan and execute a family outfing for just 4 people is like WAR in my family. But not so for Peter and Linda, and they can plan every detail, from food preparation, to activity delegation, to travel plans, to time management, to safety precautions, and still smile at the end of the day.
We are blessed with this family, and I know that God will continue to bless them and use them for His glory.

God bless you brother Peter and sister Linda! Thanks for being our Fellowship's " Adventurous tour guide ~ Peter Pan"!
Great story. Thank you Soph.
