What would life be like if both mom and dad have to work day & night shifts while runing after three energetic boys under 6? There's never a dull moment, that's for sure! We found out as we witnessed first-hand the life of this sweet family.Wayne and Sherry are special friends with a big heart ~ and a big family! They are in fact, the first (and bravest) GV family with 3 boys in a row! Who can top their (birth) record?

During our visit, the boys (Solomon and Elijah) played happily in the courtyard with water balloons while Abbie & Caleb joined in on the fun. Undaunted that she's the only girl, Abbie managed to drench all the boys! Little Isaiah played contently in the sidelines, smiling and cooing at the siblings playing nearby. Boy were we envious to see a baby with such an easygoing nature!

And guess what? We discovered that mommy and daddy (and especially daddy) LOOOOOVE Legos! Wayne has many, many, many boxes of unopened Lego collections proudly displayed at the top of his bookshelves!
We also learned that mommy and daddy loved playing puzzles together...but this was before the 3 monkeys were born. Perhaps they will resume their hobbies when the boys go to college? Or play with them when they are teenagers? Above, you can see the triumphant Eiffel Tower of legos they built together (for the 2nd time, since Eli accidentally threw his arms around and collapsed the tower!
It's great to see the love, warmth, and affection shared between the 3-Musketeer family. Though life seem to always be 'on-the-go', we know that they will look back one day at the wonderful memories they've created together! May the Lord continue to bless and lead this precious family ~ The Liangs ~ in the way that He prepared for them!
Post Scriptus by Mommy Sherry:
One little note, Solomon was the culprit that toppled the Eiffel Tower, not Elijah. He was goofing around wiggling his behind at the camera when I tried to take a photo of them and guess what? Before I could even get a shot in, he lost his balance and fell head in on the tower. You guys should see the look on daddy's face. If looks could kill... many lives would have been lost that moment.
I think the Lego Box should print the age as: 30+
ReplyDeletehee hee... the photos Soph posted are not actual Lego sets Wayne has. He is a big fan of Star Wars Lego.
ReplyDeleteHaha, sorry guys! I had to improvise 'cuz we didn't have pix of Wayne's collection. Yes, 30+ is a good idea! (^_^)
ReplyDeleteWe should have Sherry to provide a special program for training moms how to take care kids.
ReplyDeleteI like watching Western Cowboy/Cowgirl movies. When I see Sherry, it's like John Wayne stood on the street and faced four men, windy and sandy, and then eyes blinking, John was very relax to blow the smoke from his gun and then the sound "don, don, don, PON". *The sound "PON" is the from biggest one.
